The Founder
Swapnil Agarwal
Founder & Chief Executive Officer
Swapnil Agarwal founded Nitya Capital in Houston in 2013. Today the firm he leads is a vertically integrated real estate investor with approximately $3.0 billion in assets under management, concentrated in value-add multifamily communities across the United States.
He also established the firm's in-house property management partnership, so that acquisitions, asset management, and property operations stay aligned under one accountable team from purchase through exit. That structure, invest and operate, side by side, is where Swapnil spends his time: leading Nitya's investment strategy and its relationships with investors.
In 2023, Swapnil was named a National Finalist for the EY Entrepreneur of the Year award. The name he gave the firm, Nitya, Sanskrit for eternal, constant, perpetual, remains its thesis: built to perform through every market cycle.
